A founding father of Utah’s VC industry is stepping back as accusations of sexual harassment surface

Melia Russell and Rosalie Chan’s investigation uncovered allegations against Greg Warnock, a founding father of Utah’s VC scene. The narrative draws you in and provides key details, which were handled with care and sensitivity.

A spokesperson for Mercato Partners, the VC firm Warnock cofounded, said it “takes allegations of this nature very seriously and has a track record of taking action to investigate.” The spokesman also addressed a central allegation in BI’s story, saying that “Mr. Warnock regrets that certain of his interactions with the former employee have been misinterpreted, mischaracterized, and exaggerated in ways that he could not have anticipated.”
