Glaciers support water security for nearly 2 billion people across Asia, but rapid glacier retreat due to rising temperatures is reshaping river flows, increasing flood risks and threatening livelihoods.

Our new green bond aims to raise awareness of accelerating glacier melt across South, Central, and West Asia. Arranged by BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley, the $100 million issuance will support initiatives that help vulnerable communities build resilience amid changing ecosystems.

The financing aligns with our broader efforts to integrate glacier monitoring, risk assessment, resilient infrastructure, and water governance into national strategies.
